About me

I’m a York based psychotherapist in advanced clinical training in Transactional analysis (TA) based. I am also a researcher, a mother, and a very committed dog owner.

I am passionate about psychotherapy and the healing it can bring. I strive to provide a secure, respectful and non-judgemental atmosphere to enable a positive client-therapist relationship.

I have worked in Social Justice settings for over a decade, which has required me to work with compassion and empathy. I currently volunteer at a women’s counselling and community service.

My work with clients is heavily influenced by my experiences working with people in vulnerable settings. I have a particular interest in working with clients on issues of childhood trauma, ADHD, anxiety, self esteem, domestic abuse, sexual abuse and bereavement.

I am passionate about helping people to understand themselves better and work with different presentations, issues and processes.

I am a trainee member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), UKATA (United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis) and ITAA (International Transactional Analysis Association).
